When a seemingly perfect and happy family is murdered by someone they knew and trusted, cracks appear on the surface of a supposedly idyllic community.
Investigations into the deadly house fire reveal something sinister and the villagers must pick through the ashes to find answers. Was it a tragic accident or something more troubling?
The residents of Kirkdarroch come out in force for Kate and the girls' funerals. Jess meets an old friend of Kate's and is deeply shocked by what she discovers.
