After getting the divorce she wanted, Cha Soohyeon devoted her life into making her hotel successful. It was so successful that she earned the chance to open a branch in Cuba. After attending the opening ceremony, she visits Malecon Beach and has a magical encounter.

Upon his arrival, Kim Jinhyeok gets a surprising phone call telling him that he got the job at Donghwa Hotel. He is perplexed by the fact that the woman he spent a romantic day with in Cuba is actually the CEO of the hotel. On Jinhyeok’s first day at work, he meets Soohyeon again.

With Soohyeon’s mother and ex-mother-in-law on the same boat, Soohyeon fights a lonely battle. She asks for Jeong Wooseok’s help so that Jinhyeok won’t get hurt. With a heavy heart, Soohyeon goes on a business trip to Sokcho.

Jinhyeok approaches Soohyeon with sincerity and honesty, but Soohyeon is afraid of the consequences her actions will bring. She tries to push him away, but it isn’t easy. Chairwoman Kim Hwajin plans to bring Soohyeon down from the CEO position, and an anonymous posting on the in-house bulletin board get people talking.

Everyone is confused and shocked by Jinhyeok’s bold actions. Joo Hyein, who’s had feelings for Jinhyeok from a long time ago, is heartbroken as well. Jang Mijin worries for her friend’s future and tells Jinhyeok a little bit about Soohyeon.

With the opening ceremony coming up for the hotel in Sokcho, everybody is busy with work. Soohyeon is surrounded by enemies, but that makes her feel even closer to Jinhyeok. At the hotel opening ceremony, Soohyeon witnesses Hwajin giving Jinhyeok a hard time.

Even after Soohyeon's confession at the press conference in Sokcho that shocked the public, Soohyeon and Jinhyeok continue to date. However, by Chairwoman Kim's order, Jinhyeok is told to be transferred to a local branch in Sokcho. He argues that being relocated due to his relationship with Soohyeon is unfair.

Soohyeon tells Jinhyeok that she can help him stay in the head office, but Jinhyeok refuses her offer saying that he should show people how he comes back to the head office all by himself. Meanwhile, Donghwa Hotel’s year-end party is held as planned. Nam Myeongshik and Kim Seonjoo plan to invite Soohyeon and Jinhyeok who has been transferred to Sokcho without telling the two of them so that the young couple has a surprise reunion at the party.

Jinhyeok and Soohyeon spend a magical night together on New Year’s Day. However, they become the target of gossip once again after making the headlines. Aware of how Taegyeong will react, Soohyeon decides to take them head on. However, both Jinhyeok and Soohyeon soon realize that they are about to face a big storm.

Soohyeon and Jinhyeok reunite after a month passes. Jinhyeok’s reputation within the office goes up and Soohyeon feels proud of him, but she is soon faced with an imminent crisis when Choi Jincheol executes his plan to bring Soohyeon down.

Jinhyeok returns to the PR team after sorting out the problem in Cuba. Jinhyeok and Soohyeon make precious memories together and become fonder of each other. Meanwhile, Jincheol receives an unexpected text message from Wooseok.

The shareholders’ meeting takes place and Wooseok introduces himself as the Co-CEO of Donghwa Hotel. When Wooseok and Jinhyeok meet at the office, Jinhyeok questions Wooseok’s integrity. Meanwhile, the death anniversary of Soohyeon’s former father-in-law approaches.

To everyone’s surprise, Soohyeon shows up for dinner at Jinhyeok’s house. The aftermath is severe and Chairwoman Kim orders Jincheol to hold a board meeting so that she can bring Soohyeon down from the CEO position. Soohyeon decides to get to the bottom of the Cuban hotel incident.

Soohyeon worries that she’ll end up hurting Jinhyeok by continuing to see him, but at the same time, she doesn’t want things to end. Kim Jinmyeong gets in a fight when he hears his friend badmouthing his brother. After much thought, Soohyeon makes up her mind.

In order to protect his daughter from Taegyeong, Congressman Cha Jonghyeon makes a confession that will bring inevitable consequences. Jinhyeok wishes to stay by Soohyeon’s side and keep her safe, but Soohyeon breaks up with him after much consideration. Jinhyeok can’t let her go just yet.

Jinhyeok tells his mother that he understands why she asked Soohyeon to break up with him and that he loves her very much. Jinhyeok comes to understand Soohyeon and decides to wait for her. One day, Soohyeon receives a gift from Jinhyeok.
