Les Bleus 2018 – At The Heart of the Russian Epic is a documentary series that tells the story of an extraordinary adventure. At the core of Les Bleus, we see how the group lives and manages the pressure, the matches and gives its utmost to succeed. The film follows the team from the friendlies of March to June and their preparations in Clairefontaine up to the matches in the World Cup.
The 23 players picked by Didier Deschamps meet in Clairefontaine. The manager has only several days and 3 games to prepare and decide his ideal formation that will propel his team to the stiffest test of all, the final of the World Cup.
It's time to leave for Russia, and in their opening group match, France meet Australia, followed by Peru. After these two games, which allow Didier Deschamps to make some final strategic adjustments, France are top of their group.
