The show documents the efforts of Chuck Palumbo (a former WWE wrestler and mechanic) and his partner Rick Dore (a custom car and hot rod builder) as they locate and then clean up the collection of a car hoarder with the main idea being to get classic cars and parts back into the realm of public use and display.
Chuck and Rick set out to customize a 1940 Ford pickup for a hoarder, and enable his quadriplegic son to drive again.... but crossed lines, butting heads and subordination in the shop threaten to derail the job.

When Rick's vision for customizing twin 1955 Pontiac Chieftains for an emotional hoarder throw their finances into a tailspin, Chuck must return to the wrestling ring to save their business - and their partnership.
An overambitious plan to bring a 1950 Ford Mercury back to life leaves Chuck and Rick stranded in Mexico just hours before the big reveal.
Rick and the SLAM crew scramble to fulfill Chuck's ambitious plans for a double build-a 1968 Dodge Charger and a 1970 BMW for a corrections officer and his girlfriend. But as things come to a head...an eviction notice puts the shop's future in jeopardy.
With an eviction notice hanging over their heads, Rick and the SLAM guys duke it out with Chuck and his out-of-control obsession with a 1970 1/2 Camaro Z28.
