North of 60 is a mid-1990s Canadian television series depicting life in the sub-Arctic northern boreal forest. It first aired on CBC Television in 1992 and was syndicated around the world. It is set in the fictional community of Lynx River, a primarily Native-run town depicted as being in the Dehcho Region, Northwest Territories. Most of the characters were Dene. Some non-native characters had important roles: the restaurant/motel owner, the band manager, the nurse and the town's main RCMP officer. The show explored themes of Native poverty, alcoholism, cultural preservation and conflict over land settlements and natural resource exploitation. Originally somewhat light-hearted, it quickly became a more dramatic and ponderous series.

Bertha Kizha tuns down the scholarship to a high school in Yellowknife. Sarah gives Eric rest of thing that he left in Sarah's apartment.
After he was kicked out of school, Teevee spends his time hanging around town. Sarah is angry after her replacement fails because now she cannot go to vacation.
Andre LeBreat wants to talk to Peter after he takes a hole bad office for hostages. Inspector Cormier holds Eric resposible for everything that happend.
Sarah accepts some favors from Albert Golo. In the meantime, Maria Sangali returns back to Lynx River with some new plans…
Teevee gives Bertha Kizha an advice that the best thing for her to do is to have an abortion. Michelle gets a new promotion in another town, so she needs to decide will she leave Lynx River. Harris wants to marry Lois Tenia…
Peter and Harris have some problems with keeping the tannery deal together. In the meantime, Peter brings an archaeologist in Lynx River…
Eric is being hostage for a convict that escaped from prison to get his revenge on Michelle.
Eric is annoyed because David Shore returned back to Lynx River and he's getting even more closer with Michelle. Sarah is still in Edmonton and her doctor needs to decide is she ready to get back to her job…
Sarah tries to get along with the people in Lynx River after she returns back from Edmonton on her job.
Bertha decides to go on with her life with baby. Eric is still upset because David had an affair with Michelle.
Eric gets upset when he finds out that Sarah is now living with Albert Golo, when in the meantime Albert and Peter contend for the control of tannery.
Leon wants to use Rosie's money to buy a new truck, but she has some other plans. Lynx River gets two new visitors – a couple of animal activists who are protesting agains the tannery.
Rosie has some plans to open her own cafe and she confides her wish with Gerry. David returns to Lynx River again with a decidion to break up with Michelle once for all. Some money for tannary arrives damaged…
Rosie is depressed because the tannery project failed and so are some other residents of Lynx River. Peter has some plans for tannery…
Eric' kids come to visit him again, when in the meantime Albert and Peter fight for being a band chief, until the third candidate appears.
