Takeru Shiba, the 18th head of the Shiba family, and Hikoma Kusakabe call four teenager retainers in order to battle the re-emerging Gedoushu. They transform into Shinkengers by using Shodo Phones.
Takeru Shiba, the 18th head of the Shiba Clan, must gather together his four retainers to become Shinkenger to face against the return of the Gedoushu and their leader, Dokoku Chimatsuri.
Takeru's new retainers show difficulties in adjusting to their new lives as Shinkenger as another Ayakashi attack forces them to learn the rules of their master.
Tired of both training and Takeru, Chiaki decides to return to his former life, only to discover the burden he bares in what he must do as a samurai when targeted by an Ayakashi.
